David Batek

Nina & Emily

David Batek and I have been friends since 7th grade. I wasted many a brain cell playing Space Invaders on his Atari 2600 game machine, and drooling over his dad's collection of Cherry and Oui magazines.

As annoying as I and most of our friends could be, Dave was always the nicest, kindest guy in the world to us, putting up with us with his trademark gentle humor.

For a number of years, David worked in St. Louis on mainframe computers. He had the right training at the right time, as large IT departments were scrambling to get their systems Y2K compliant. Dave did pretty well for himself…

Several years ago, David married Nina, a beautiful young woman of Persian descent. They moved to Los Angeles where Nina has been pursuing her acting and modeling career,

They had their first daughter on February 16, 2004. I'll post some pics of the parents when they send me some (hint, hint). In the meantime, enjoy these of Emily and Nina.
