I have known Edgar since 1979, and his mom all my life. He is quite possibly the most dedicated person I have known. His commitment to work excellence is simply obscene, and his dedication to his family absolutely legendary.

Edgar has been dealt some tough breaks in his life, but has managed to come through thanks to his relentless will. He's been living in the US since 1985, and finally in December '04 was able to return to Bolivia for the first time. His two-month stay was apparently not enough, though, to make up for an 18-year absence, so he's going again this fall.

Below are some pictures from his last trip. Besides his ex-wife and their son are his brothers Perico and Nestor, plus his wonderful mother, Angela (the best cook and masseuse ever!).

I visit Angelita every chance I get. Most recently was on June 15, 2006 (the picture at bottom right).
